ดัดฟันอันตรายถึงตาย
แม้สาเหตุการเสียชีวิตของนักเรียนหญิงชั้น ม.5 จ.ขอนแก่น จะเกี่ยวข้องกับการจัด หรือดัดฟันแฟชั่นหรือไม่ก็ตาม อย่างน้อยก็เป็นอุทาหรณ์ให้กับวัยรุ่นทั้งหลายได้ตระหนักถึงอันตรายของความสวยงาม โก้เก๋ ที่อาจต้องแลกด้วยชีวิต
ทพ.ดร.ธงชัย วชิรโรจน์ไพศาล หัวหน้าภาควิชาทันตกรรมชุมชน คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กล่าวว่า ปกติการจัดฟันจะเป็นการแก้ไขความผิดปกติของการเรียงตัวของฟัน เช่น ฟันซ้อนเก ฟันห่าง ฟันยื่น ฟันบนล่างไม่สบกัน ซึ่งจะเป็นผลดีต่อการบดเคี้ยวอาหาร สุขภาพของฟัน รวมทั้งเนื้อเยื่อรอบ ๆ ฟัน และยังช่วยปรับ ให้รูปลักษณะใบหน้า และการยิ้มดูดีขึ้น ผู้ให้การรักษาจะต้องเป็นทันตแพทย์เท่านั้น
การจัดฟันแฟชั่น ไม่ใช่การรักษาทางทันตกรรม แต่เป็นการพยายามใส่เครื่องมือที่เลียนแบบการจัดฟันแบบติดแน่นที่ทันตแพทย์ใช้ในการรักษาผู้ป่วย มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อความสวยงาม โก้เก๋ ทันสมัย ผู้ที่ให้บริการไม่ใช่ทันตแพทย์ ทำให้เกิดผลเสียต่าง ๆ ตามมา
ในปัจจุบันจัดฟันแฟชั่น อาจแบ่งได้เป็น 3 ประเภท คือ ลวดร้อยลูกปัด เป็นการใช้ลวดเส้นเล็ก ๆ ร้อยลูกปัดสีต่าง ๆ มีวางจำหน่ายในตลาดนัดและแหล่งชุมชนต่าง ๆ ราคาเส้นละ 50-120 บาท เด็กและวัยรุ่นนิยมซื้อมาใส่เอง
จัดฟันแฟชั่นแบบติดแน่น เป็นการเลียนแบบการจัดฟันของทันตแพทย์ให้เหมือนมากขึ้น โดยจะมีการติดเครื่องมือ “แบ๊กเกต” เป็นโลหะรูปสี่เหลี่ยมที่มีร่องใส่ลวดจัดฟันและมีส่วนยื่นออกมาสำหรับคล้องยาง ค่าใช้จ่ายอยู่ที่ 800-1,200 บาท สามารถเลือกสีของยาง รูปร่างของยาง เช่น รูป ดอกไม้ มิกกี้เม้าส์
จัดฟันแฟชั่นแบบถอดได้ เป็นการใช้เครื่องมือคงสภาพฟัน หรือ “รีเทนเนอร์” ที่เหมือนกับทันตแพทย์ใช้ มีลักษณะเป็นแผ่น พลาสติกปิดอยู่ที่เพดาน หรือข้างลิ้น มีลวดคอยบังคับฟันให้อยู่ในตำแหน่งที่ต้องการ มีการดัดแปลง เพิ่มแบ๊กเกตให้ติดอยู่บนลวด ขั้นตอนการทำจะต้องมีการพิมพ์ฟัน ค่าใช้จ่ายประมาณ 800-1,300 บาทต่อชิ้น สามารถเลือกสี ลายของแผ่น พลาสติก และลวดได้
อันตรายของการจัดฟันแฟชั่น มีดังนี้
อันตรายจากขั้นตอนการทำ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ เช่น ถาดพิมพ์ฟันใช้แล้วไม่ได้ล้าง หรือล้างแต่ไม่ได้ฆ่าเชื้อ ทำให้มีโอกาสที่จะได้รับเชื้อโรคที่มาจากน้ำลายของผู้ใช้บริการคนก่อน ผู้ทำไม่ได้สวมถุงมือ อาจติดโรคต่าง ๆ เช่น ไวรัสตับอักเสบบี วัณโรค ไข้หวัด ไข้หวัดใหญ่ คอตีบ โปลิโอ
อันตรายจากวัสดุ ลวดจัดฟันแฟชั่นที่ใช้คุณ ภาพต่ำ มีสารปนเปื้อนที่เป็นโลหะหนัก เช่น ตะกั่ว พลวง ซิลิเนียม โครเมียม และสารหนู หากสะสมในร่างกายมาก ๆ จะเป็นอันตรายต่อไต ทำให้เนื้อเยื่อต่าง ๆ ของเซลล์ตาย อาจทำให้เกิดมะเร็งได้ การใช้ลวดที่เป็นสี เมื่อใส่ไว้ในปากสักระยะหนึ่ง มีการสัมผัสอาหาร ของเย็น ของร้อน แล้วสีจางลง ส่วนประกอบของสีจะเข้าสู่ร่างกาย ผ่านเข้ากระเพาะอาหาร และดูดซึมไปสะสมไว้ในร่างกาย เป็นการสะสมสารพิษไว้ในร่างกาย
อันตรายต่อฟันและเนื้อเยื่อในช่องปาก ในขั้นตอนการทำ จะมีการใช้หัวกรอ กรอเอาเคลือบฟันที่ดีออกไป รวมทั้งใช้กรดกัดฟัน ซึ่งจะทำให้เคลื่อนฟันบางลง ทำให้ความแข็งแรงของฟันลดลง ทำให้เสียวฟันได้ง่าย
การปรับแต่งลวดโดยผู้ที่ไม่มีความรู้จะทำให้เกิดแรงกดไปที่ตัวฟัน และฟันเคลื่อนไปจากเดิม ทำให้มีอาการปวดฟันมากอาจทำให้ฟันซี่นั้นกลายเป็นฟันตาย รากฟันละลาย อาจจะต้องถอนฟันซี่นั้นทิ้งไป เครื่องมืออาจหลุดลงคอ หรือ หลอดลม ทำให้เป็นอันตรายถึงชีวิต นอกจากนี้การใส่เครื่องมือจัดฟันแฟชั่นมักทำให้เกิดการบาดกระพุ้งแก้ม หรือเนื้อเยื่อในช่องปากกลาย เป็นแผล เสี่ยงต่อการเป็นมะเร็งเนื้อเยื่อในช่องปาก อีกทั้งเครื่องมือที่ใส่ในปาก จะขัดขวางการแปรงฟันและทำความสะอาดฟัน อาจทำให้ฟันผุ เหงือกอักเสบ บวมแดง มีกลิ่นปาก
ท้ายนี้ขอเตือนวัยรุ่นทั้งหลายว่า หากฟันไม่ได้มีปัญหาก็ไม่ควรไปจัดหรือดัดฟันแฟชั่น เพราะนอกจากจะเสียเงินโดยใช่เหตุแล้ว อาจได้รับอันตรายจากวัสดุจัดฟันที่ไม่ได้มาตรฐาน ถึงขั้นเสียชีวิตได้
ทพ.ดร.ธงชัย วชิรโรจน์ไพศาล หัวหน้าภาควิชาทันตกรรมชุมชน คณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กล่าวว่า ปกติการจัดฟันจะเป็นการแก้ไขความผิดปกติของการเรียงตัวของฟัน เช่น ฟันซ้อนเก ฟันห่าง ฟันยื่น ฟันบนล่างไม่สบกัน ซึ่งจะเป็นผลดีต่อการบดเคี้ยวอาหาร สุขภาพของฟัน รวมทั้งเนื้อเยื่อรอบ ๆ ฟัน และยังช่วยปรับ ให้รูปลักษณะใบหน้า และการยิ้มดูดีขึ้น ผู้ให้การรักษาจะต้องเป็นทันตแพทย์เท่านั้น
การจัดฟันแฟชั่น ไม่ใช่การรักษาทางทันตกรรม แต่เป็นการพยายามใส่เครื่องมือที่เลียนแบบการจัดฟันแบบติดแน่นที่ทันตแพทย์ใช้ในการรักษาผู้ป่วย มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อความสวยงาม โก้เก๋ ทันสมัย ผู้ที่ให้บริการไม่ใช่ทันตแพทย์ ทำให้เกิดผลเสียต่าง ๆ ตามมา
ในปัจจุบันจัดฟันแฟชั่น อาจแบ่งได้เป็น 3 ประเภท คือ ลวดร้อยลูกปัด เป็นการใช้ลวดเส้นเล็ก ๆ ร้อยลูกปัดสีต่าง ๆ มีวางจำหน่ายในตลาดนัดและแหล่งชุมชนต่าง ๆ ราคาเส้นละ 50-120 บาท เด็กและวัยรุ่นนิยมซื้อมาใส่เอง
จัดฟันแฟชั่นแบบติดแน่น เป็นการเลียนแบบการจัดฟันของทันตแพทย์ให้เหมือนมากขึ้น โดยจะมีการติดเครื่องมือ “แบ๊กเกต” เป็นโลหะรูปสี่เหลี่ยมที่มีร่องใส่ลวดจัดฟันและมีส่วนยื่นออกมาสำหรับคล้องยาง ค่าใช้จ่ายอยู่ที่ 800-1,200 บาท สามารถเลือกสีของยาง รูปร่างของยาง เช่น รูป ดอกไม้ มิกกี้เม้าส์
จัดฟันแฟชั่นแบบถอดได้ เป็นการใช้เครื่องมือคงสภาพฟัน หรือ “รีเทนเนอร์” ที่เหมือนกับทันตแพทย์ใช้ มีลักษณะเป็นแผ่น พลาสติกปิดอยู่ที่เพดาน หรือข้างลิ้น มีลวดคอยบังคับฟันให้อยู่ในตำแหน่งที่ต้องการ มีการดัดแปลง เพิ่มแบ๊กเกตให้ติดอยู่บนลวด ขั้นตอนการทำจะต้องมีการพิมพ์ฟัน ค่าใช้จ่ายประมาณ 800-1,300 บาทต่อชิ้น สามารถเลือกสี ลายของแผ่น พลาสติก และลวดได้
อันตรายของการจัดฟันแฟชั่น มีดังนี้
อันตรายจากขั้นตอนการทำ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ เช่น ถาดพิมพ์ฟันใช้แล้วไม่ได้ล้าง หรือล้างแต่ไม่ได้ฆ่าเชื้อ ทำให้มีโอกาสที่จะได้รับเชื้อโรคที่มาจากน้ำลายของผู้ใช้บริการคนก่อน ผู้ทำไม่ได้สวมถุงมือ อาจติดโรคต่าง ๆ เช่น ไวรัสตับอักเสบบี วัณโรค ไข้หวัด ไข้หวัดใหญ่ คอตีบ โปลิโอ
อันตรายจากวัสดุ ลวดจัดฟันแฟชั่นที่ใช้คุณ ภาพต่ำ มีสารปนเปื้อนที่เป็นโลหะหนัก เช่น ตะกั่ว พลวง ซิลิเนียม โครเมียม และสารหนู หากสะสมในร่างกายมาก ๆ จะเป็นอันตรายต่อไต ทำให้เนื้อเยื่อต่าง ๆ ของเซลล์ตาย อาจทำให้เกิดมะเร็งได้ การใช้ลวดที่เป็นสี เมื่อใส่ไว้ในปากสักระยะหนึ่ง มีการสัมผัสอาหาร ของเย็น ของร้อน แล้วสีจางลง ส่วนประกอบของสีจะเข้าสู่ร่างกาย ผ่านเข้ากระเพาะอาหาร และดูดซึมไปสะสมไว้ในร่างกาย เป็นการสะสมสารพิษไว้ในร่างกาย
อันตรายต่อฟันและเนื้อเยื่อในช่องปาก ในขั้นตอนการทำ จะมีการใช้หัวกรอ กรอเอาเคลือบฟันที่ดีออกไป รวมทั้งใช้กรดกัดฟัน ซึ่งจะทำให้เคลื่อนฟันบางลง ทำให้ความแข็งแรงของฟันลดลง ทำให้เสียวฟันได้ง่าย
การปรับแต่งลวดโดยผู้ที่ไม่มีความรู้จะทำให้เกิดแรงกดไปที่ตัวฟัน และฟันเคลื่อนไปจากเดิม ทำให้มีอาการปวดฟันมากอาจทำให้ฟันซี่นั้นกลายเป็นฟันตาย รากฟันละลาย อาจจะต้องถอนฟันซี่นั้นทิ้งไป เครื่องมืออาจหลุดลงคอ หรือ หลอดลม ทำให้เป็นอันตรายถึงชีวิต นอกจากนี้การใส่เครื่องมือจัดฟันแฟชั่นมักทำให้เกิดการบาดกระพุ้งแก้ม หรือเนื้อเยื่อในช่องปากกลาย เป็นแผล เสี่ยงต่อการเป็นมะเร็งเนื้อเยื่อในช่องปาก อีกทั้งเครื่องมือที่ใส่ในปาก จะขัดขวางการแปรงฟันและทำความสะอาดฟัน อาจทำให้ฟันผุ เหงือกอักเสบ บวมแดง มีกลิ่นปาก
ท้ายนี้ขอเตือนวัยรุ่นทั้งหลายว่า หากฟันไม่ได้มีปัญหาก็ไม่ควรไปจัดหรือดัดฟันแฟชั่น เพราะนอกจากจะเสียเงินโดยใช่เหตุแล้ว อาจได้รับอันตรายจากวัสดุจัดฟันที่ไม่ได้มาตรฐาน ถึงขั้นเสียชีวิตได้
ผลชันสูตรศพยัน ไมเคิล แจ็คสัน ถูกฆาตกรรม
ผลชันสูตรศพยัน ไมเคิล แจ็คสัน ถูกฆาตกรรม วันที่ 29 สิงหาคม สำนักงานชันสูตรเขตลอสแองเจลิส ระบุสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตของ ไมเคิล แจ็คสัน วัย 50 ปี ที่เสียชีวิตอย่างกระทันหันเมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน ที่ผ่านมา ว่า เป็นการฆาตกรรม จากการที่เขาได้รับยาโปรโพฟอลซึ่งเป็นยาสลบที่ใช้ในห้องผ่าตัดในปริมาณที่ เป็นอันตรายถึงชีวิต และยาระงับประสาทชนิดรุนแรงที่มีชื่อว่า โลราซีแพม นอกจากนี้ ยังตรวจพบยานอนหลับ มิดาโซแลม และ ไดอาเซแพม รวมทั้งยาแก้ปวดลิโดเคน และสารกระตุ้นประสาทเอฟิดรีนในร่างกายของแจ็คสันด้วย แต่สำนักงานชันสูตรฯไม่ได้เปิดเผยรายงานผลการชันสูตรศพทั้งหมด โดยให้เหตุผลว่าคดีนี้อยู่ในระหว่างการสอบสวน การเปิดเผยผลการชันสูตรศพของแจ็คสัน ทำให้มีความเป็นไปได้มากว่า นายแพทย์ คอนราร์ด เมอร์เรย์ แพทยประจำตัวที่อยู่กับเขาเป็นคนสุดท้ายก่อนเสียชีวิต จะถูกตั้งข้อหาคดีฆาตกรรม โดยก่อนหน้านี้เขายอมรับกับตำรวจว่าได้ให้ยาโปรโพฟอลกับแจ็คสันในเช้าวันเกิดเหตุ หลังจากที่ยานอนหลับหลายขนานไม่สามารถทำให้แจ็คสันนอนหลับได้ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีแพทย์อีกอย่างน้อย 6 คน ที่กำลังถูกสอบสวนด้วย ด้านอัยการสูงสุดของรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย เจอรี่ บราวน์ ออกแถลงการณ์ระบุว่าจะเปิดการสอบสวน แพทย์หลายคนที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวพันกับการพิสูจน์การเสียชีวิตอย่างกระทันหันของ ไมเคิล แจ็คสัน ตามคำขอของสำนักงานตำรวจลอสแองเจลิส แต่ไม่ได้ระบุชื่อแพทย์ที่จะถูกสอบสวน

แต่ความรักมันก็เหมือนเรื่องอื่นๆ ในชีวิตที่เราได้แต่ทำให้ดีที่สุดเท่านั้น รักกันให้ดีๆ ทำแต่สิ่งดีๆ พูดแต่สิ่งดีๆ มอบแต่สิ่งดีๆ ให้คนที่เรารัก แต่มันจะลงเอยอย่างไรก็เป็นเรื่องของอนาคตที่ไม่อาจกำหนดผลได้ จะสมหวังหรือผิดหวังก็เป็นเพียงสิ่งที่สามารถจะเกิดขึ้นได้ทั้งสองทาง เราคงไม่อาจไปทัดทานอะไรได้
